In Brief: Another Top Trader Leaves JPMorgan Chase

J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. said that its head of Treasury and agency bond trading, Thomas Connor, resigned last week; Bloomberg news reported that he was joining Banc of America Securities in New York.

Mr. Connor had reported to Mark Werner, who was JPMorgan Chase's deputy head of bond trading until earlier this month, when he resigned to join the Bank of America Corp. unit as the head of global markets. Mr. Werner succeeded Jonathan Sandalman, who quit to start a hedge fund.

It is the third high-profile departure in JPMorgan Chase's fixed-income group. John Steinhardt, who was in charge of credit markets, quit earlier this month after a reorganization.
