Bank of America Corp. has expanded its European equity products business.
The Charlotte company announced Monday that it has appointed 10 people to its London marketing team and four to its London trading teams.
The marketing team will begin covering France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Scandinavia. It will continue to cover Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.
Bank of America hired four vice presidents. Alejandra Entrecanales and Sergio Parra will cover Spain and Portugal, Salim Gassama will cover France, and An-Sofie Meirsschaut will cover the Benelux countries. It also hired three principals. Giancarlo Cavaliere and Giovanni Ceglia will cover Italy, and Janne Leirvik will cover Scandinavia.
B of A hired three equity product associates and salespeople. Julie Logmbang and Benoit Sorel will cover France, and Patrick Busch will cover Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.
The expanded trading team now includes Vittorio DeAngelis, a principal and the head of single stock derivatives; Francois Lu, a vice president and equity derivatives trader; Fabrizio Maccalini, a vice president and single stock equity derivatives trader; and Frederic Valmorin, an associate and single stock equity derivatives trader.
