CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Bank of America’s asset management and private-client division has announced the appointment of Caroline Oliver to be an investment executive for western Florida.

Ms. Oliver is to be responsible for working with clients at Bank of America Private Bank who have at least a million dollars of investable assets.

She is to manage a team of 12 portfolio managers for Naples, Fort Myers, Sarasota, Bradenton, St. Petersburg, Tampa, and Clearwater.

The private bank also opened offices this month in Beverly Hills, Westlake Village, and South Bay, Calif. This brought its total in the state to 23, nearly double the total a year earlier.
