Banc of America Securities has named Patrick Coleman the head of global markets institutional sales.
Mr. Coleman joined the Bank of America Corp. unit last year to launch its government institutions group, which focuses on the origination and distribution of agency and supranational paper. This year he became the head of global commodities and focused on expanding the bank’s operations in those markets.
He reports to Mark Werner, the head of global markets.
