CHICAGO Banc One Investment Management Group, the asset management arm of Bank One Corp., has promoted James M. McCord Jr. to head its institutional investment services unit.
In the newly created position of managing director, Mr. McCord will oversee institutional investment services and look to add to the investment management units institutional client roster.
Mr. McCord has worked at Bank One, and its predecessor, First Chicago Bank, for 28 years.
During his career he managed bank operations and led systems architecture and technology planning at First Chicago NBD; served as general manager of First Chicagos Tokyo branch; and headed product sales, service, and customer support for the Asia-Pacific region.
