SAN ANTONIO Billserv.com has signed an agreement with Bank One Corp. to install software that will let the Chicago banking companys commercial customers present bills and other documents to consumers and receive payment electronically.
Bank One, the nations fourth-largest bank holding company, will integrate the billserv.com software into its consumer collections software.
Billserv.coms software processes customer billing information, delivers it to billing consolidators, and then processes customer payments back to the biller. It lets customers view and pay their bills at bank, portal, and billing-aggregation Internet sites.
Our agreement with Bank One represents an ideal opportunity for billserv.com to reach more billers, said Michael Long, chairman and CEO of billserv.com. The deal was announced Monday.
