In Brief: CIGNA Adds Three Institutional Funds

HARTFORD, Conn. CIGNA Corp.s retirement unit last week added three institutional investment funds.

The Putnam Investments International Growth Fund, Marvin & Palmer Associates Global Growth Fund, and Nicholas-Applegate Large Cap Aggressive Fund bring to 25 the number of institutional portfolios in the CIGNA Charter Funds family of commingled separate accounts. These accounts are for pension plan sponsors and plan participants.

CIGNA Retirement & Investment Services has $85 billion of assets under management. The unit provides retirement products to approximately 3,000 plan sponsors serving 1.6 million plan participants.
