In Brief: Citi Raising Interbank, Trade Lines to Brazil

Citibank announced Wednesday that it is voluntarily increasing its trade and interbank lines to Brazil by $200 million, effective immediately.

"This increase reflects our confidence in Brazil and in the government's economic program," Citibank vice chairman William R. Rhodes said in a statement.

With the increase, Citibank's trade and interbank lines to Brazil total $1.3 billion.
