Citigroup Inc. announced on Tuesday that it had hired Thomas F. Rollauer as its director of global compliance.

He succeeded Karen Kirchen, whom the New York company reassigned to provide legal support for all nonsecurities financing and institutional recovery management at its Global Corporate and Investment Bank unit, a spokeswoman said.
In his new position at Citi, Mr. Rollauer will report to Michael S. Helfer, its general counsel and corporate secretary.
Mr. Rollauer joined Citi from Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he was a partner in the bank regulatory consulting practice.
