Clark Consulting, an executive benefits and compensation consulting firm, said Monday that David E. Gordon has been hired for its western regional office.

Mr. Gordon, a former partner of O'Melveny & Myers LLP, a Los Angeles law firm, has joined a team of consultants in Clark Consulting's executive benefits practice and the executive compensation practice of Pearl Meyer & Partners that works with client companies to develop and carry out plans.

Before coming to Clark in Los Angeles, Mr. Gordon practiced law for 33 years at O'Melveny & Myers, where he was a senior partner, former chairman of the tax department, and chairman of the employee benefits practice.
