CALABASAS, Calif. - Countrywide Credit Industries has promoted Richard Jones to chief technology officer.
He will be responsible for Countrywide's technology initiatives and will head its e-business and central information technology divisions. He will report to Carlos Garcia, senior managing director of finance and chief operating officer.
Before his promotion Mr. Jones was an executive vice president of enterprise architecture. He has been with Countrywide since 1995.
