DALLAS - CTX Mortgage Co., a subsidiary of Centex Corp., announced Tuesday that Cathy S. Stroud has been promoted to senior vice president of its new Rocky Mountain regional office.

Ms. Stroud, who joined CTX Mortgage in 1989 as a branch manager and was promoted to Colorado state manager in 1996, will oversee operations for 16 branch offices in Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico. In her four years as state manager, she has overseen more than $1.9 billion of loan volume.

CTX Mortgage is one of the nation's largest nonbank-affiliated retail mortgage lenders, the company said.

"Cathy has not only earned our tremendous respect as a leader in her field, she has also gained the recognition of her industry peers," said John L. I am confident she will continue to enjoy great success."
