In Brief: Deutsche Snags Another JPM-Chase Exec

LONDON — Deutsche Bank AG has hired George Cooper, a portfolio manager with J.P. Morgan Chase in London, as a fixed-income strategist.

Mr. Cooper, who will work in London for his new employer, is the latest J.P. Morgan executive to jump to Deutsche Bank. Last week Jose Luis Daza, who co-headed emerging-markets research at J.P. Morgan Chase, and several of his team quit to join the German company.

Deutsche Bank in early February unveiled a broad restructuring plan that includes 2,600 job cuts and will put its five business lines into two: product creation and product distribution.
