PALO ALTO, Calif. - Informatica Corp., a provider of customer relationship management software for e-business, has announced that Deutsche Bank will expand its use of Informatica software beyond Germany.
Deutsche Bank uses Informatica's PowerCenter and PowerMart products in Germany to consolidate customer information and product data. With the software, the bank develops customer profiles that it uses to improve customer service and profitability.
Deutsche Bank said it will use these tools globally, with the goal of analyzing and consolidating data coming from the different channels of business the bank has developed, especially telephone banking, e-commerce, and online banking, a company spokesman said.
Informatica currently maintains more than 750 customers across all industries, including Merrill Lynch & Co., Netscape Inc., and Delta Air Lines.
