In Brief: Ex-DLJ Bond Analyst Goes to Bear Stearns

Ann Maysek has joined Bear, Stearns & Co. as a managing director in the corporate bond department.

Ms. Maysek will cover financial institutions, such as finance companies, consumer credit companies, and banks.

She was previously a bond analyst at Emerald Partners, an equity hedge fund in New York. Before that she was a finance and insurance bond analyst at Donaldson, Lufkin, & Jenrette. Ms. Maysek reports to Dan Scotto, head of fixed-income research.

Mark Girolamo, whom she succeeded at Bear Stearns, has joined Deutsche Morgan Grenfell as a bond analyst covering finance companies, insurance companies, brokerage firms, and high-grade and high-yield fixed-income products. He reports to Glenn Reynolds, head of credit research. He spent 11 years at Bear Stearns.
