Fitch Ratings affirmed a stable ratings outlook Friday for Cigna Corp. and its lead operating subsidiary, Connecticut General Life.
The Chicago-based Fitch ratings operation also assigned an "A" insurer financial strength rating to Cigna Life Insurance Co. of New York and Cigna Worldwide Insurance Co. Cigna's mix of businesses, including earnings from group benefits and international sources, differentiate it from other health and managed care insurers.
