In Brief: GTE Wireless Users Get E-Trade Access

MENLO PARK, Calif. - E-Trade Group Inc. has signed an agreement with GTE Wireless making E-Trade's Web site available this month on all GTE Wireless Internet-enabled mobile phones.

Under the partnership, subscribers to GTE Wireless InfoManager get access to real-time quotes, portfolios, and market updates through their Web-enabled wireless phones. In addition, E-Trade customers can access their personal financial portfolios to place trading orders, verify account balances, and receive real-time account alerts with no additional charges.
