McCamish Systems said Wednesday that John Hancock Life Insurance Co. has chosen its VPAS Life policy administration platform for all variable life products.
The agreement makes VPAS Life the target application for all variable life products, including products intended for retail, corporate, and high-net-worth markets.
John Hancock is a unit of Manulife Financial Corp., the Toronto insurance giant.
Hancock's financial products and services include whole life, term life, variable life, and universal life insurance, as well as college savings products, fixed and variable annuities, long-term-care insurance, mutual funds, and various forms of business insurance.
The VPAS product family comprises client-server-based, relational database systems that are scalable, feature-rich, and flexible enough to be customized for each client.
