STOCKHOLM International Business Machines Corp. has thrown its weight into wireless financial services by announcing a partnership with the Swedish telecommunications provider Ericsson.
The two companies plan to jointly market an offering to meet financial services companies needs. They said they will develop applications for wealth management, account aggregation, mobile trading, and credit card and payment alerts and will help financial companies protect their investments in wireless technology during an unsettled time for standards, networks, devices, and payment technologies.
