Jackson National Life Insurance Co. announced an extension Wednesday of its sales agreement with Wachovia Securities to distribute variable and fixed index annuity products in Wachovia bank branches.
Approved Wachovia Securities financial advisers in the division's investment service group can now offer Jackson National's Perspective II, Perspective L Series, and Perspective Advisors II variable annuities, as well as the Elite Annual Reset, Elite Choice, and Elite Choice Rewards fixed index annuities. Before the agreement's extension, Jackson's relationship with Wachovia was exclusively with the latter's national brokerage network.
As part of the agreement, Jackson has committed itself to hiring additional internal and external wholesalers.
