KeyCorp is offering an integrated lockbox system designed to automate the processing of payments for physicians’ offices.
The Cleveland company said Key2Image Lockbox Remittance Manager will provide faster claims processing for health-care providers and will improve compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
The system combines Key’s image lockbox offering with Online Computer Information Exchange software from Donnell Systems Inc. The software, known as Ocie, collects and archives data and document images
“It allows health-care organizations to take a basic image service to the next level,” said Lynda Umbreit, a cash management sales officer in KeyBank’s commercial banking unit, in a press release. “Through one electronic window they can use this system as a more efficient means of research and document retrieval.”
