In Brief: LaSalle to Offer Wireless Services

NORTHBROOK, Ill. — LaSalle Bank, a subsidiary of ABN Amro, plans to introduce wireless services for its high-net-worth customers in the second quarter.

The customers will be able to get access to integrated account information, transfer funds, and conduct brokerage transactions through wireless devices. The application was developed by easyClient Software Inc.

“The financial services market in the U.S. has seen the demand for wireless content take off in recent months,” said Terry McCafferey, senior vice president and director of marketing and product development for LaSalle Bank’s wealth management group. “We serve some of the world’s busiest customers, who demand meaningful content over every possible channel.”
