Loan Pricing Corp. this week launched a new version of LoanConnector, its on-line loan syndications, trading, news delivery, and analysis service.
LoanConnector 2.0 includes LoanScan, a new Internet-based application that lets users access the company's data base of commercial and industrial loans.
The revamped system also includes an enhanced version of LoanMail, a communications function that lets banks syndicate corporate loans, exchange documents, and send and receive updated secondary bank loan prices over the Internet.
Other new features include syndicated loan pricing grids and forward calendars for the U.K., European, and Latin American loan markets; a section dedicated to Loan Syndication and Trading Association business; and a searchable data base of Loan Identification Numbers (LINs), standard identifiers assigned to individual loans to facilitate trading.
Also included are several news service features provided by New York- based Loan Pricing's parent company, Reuters America.
