NEWTON, Mass. - MassMutual Financial Group's 401(k) unit has started a suite of online retirement services intended to give investors access to a variety of mutual funds and online investment advice.
The services, offered by Persumma Financial through its Web site, www.persumma.com, supply access to 1,500 mutual funds. The site also offers online trading and 24-hour access to account information.
The services were launched Wednesday.
Should the all-stock transaction close as planned later this year, Wintrust Financial in the Chicago area would gain about $2.7 billion of assets.
