CINCINNATI - Fazoli's Italian Restaurants has chosen Midwest Payments Systems, a subsidiary of Fifth Third Bancorp, to provide credit card processing for its 330 restaurants in 28 states.
Fazoli's, of Lexington, Ky., runs a chain of quick-service family-style restaurants. The company recently began accepting Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express cards.
The restaurant chain is also using Midwest's Mvision system, which lets retailers scan receipts, handwritten notes, or other documents to help them respond to inquiries from customers or financial institutions.
