PURCHASE, N.Y. MasterCard International will create a new headquarters for the operations of its North America region in existing office space adjacent to its global headquarters in this New York City suburb, the company said Wednesday.
The past few years have been exceptional ones in terms of performance for our region and the company as a whole, said Ruth Ann Marshall, the president of MasterCard North America. However, as a result, a significant number of people have joined the company, and weve simply outgrown our Purchase building.
All 125 North America region employees who work in Purchase will be relocated to the new facility, at 100 Manhattanville Road, where MasterCard will lease 47,000 square feet of space. The targeted move-in date is April 2002. MasterCard will continue to have more than 1,100 employees at its global headquarters, at 2000 Purchase St.
