In Brief: Online Resources in Co-op Network Deal

MCLEAN, Va. - Online Resources Corp., an outsourcer of Internet banking services, said Monday that it had signed a reselling agreement with Co-op Network, the electronic funds transfer network owned by more than 1,200 credit unions.

Under the deal, Co-op Network, of Ontario, Calif., will market Online Resources' Quotien Internet bill-payment service to its more than 11 million member cardholders. Co-op Network says its regional sales representatives and in-house account management team will market Online Resources' bill payment, customer service, and marketing services to its members, as well as through custom marketing materials, trade shows, and its corporate Web site.

Co-op provides EFT services, shared branching, and volume discounts on products and services that include risk management and debit and deposit access.
