NEW YORK - TD Waterhouse Group Inc. introduced an account Monday that will allow investors to transfer funds online from any U.S. checking or savings account to a TD Waterhouse brokerage account.
The new account, TransferDirect, allows customers to initiate a transfer for any amount from $100 to $100,000 daily.
To enroll in TransferDirect customers apply at TD Waterhouse's Web site, webBroker.com.
TD Waterhouse said it is the only online discount brokerage with retail branches in all 50 states. The company serves 4.2 million customer accounts in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, and India.
