DALLAS - Paymentech Inc., the card processor, said it has expanded its automatic recurring billing program by adding new payment types and certifications to industry billing system platforms used by the leading cellular and wireless vendors.
Along with credit and debit card processing, Paymentech offers electronic check processing, which allows billers to automatically deduct ongoing payments from a subscriber's checking account.
Twelve million households are expected to be using e-billing by 2003, and more than 40% of all bills are expected to be delivered and paid through the Internet by 2010, he said.
