In Brief: PNC Puts ATMs in N.J. Quick Chek Stores

PITTSBURGH - PNC Bank, a unit of PNC Financial Services Group Inc., said Wednesday that it had agreed with Quick Chek, a convenience store chain, to operate automated teller machines in the chain's 105 stores in northern and central New Jersey.

The ATM services, to be rolled out this month, will include cash dispensing, fast cash withdrawal, and transfers between accounts, the banking company said. The ATMs will be surcharge-free for all customers, including users who do not regularly bank with PNC, the company said.

PNC has the ninth-largest bank ATM network in the country, with 3,100 machines.
