StillPoint Advisors Inc., an Atlanta wealth advisory company, said Thursday that it had hired Brian Nygaard to be the chief executive officer and president of StillPoint Wealth Management.
Mr. Nygaard, who has worked in the financial services industry for 25 years, is to develop and expand the independent, product-neutral wealth management arm of StillPoint Advisors. He most recently was the president of H&R Block Financial Advisors and previously was president of ING Advisors Network and a senior-level executive during nine years at Principal Financial Group of Des Moines.
In the last year StillPoint has added brokerage teams in Boca Raton, Fla., and Little Rock, Ark., from Smith Barney and Merrill Lynch, as well as a family-office team from myCFO.
