CHARLOTTE, N.C. - First Union Corp.'s fund family has hired Martyn Greene of Citco Technology Management Inc. as senior vice president and chief information officer.
He will be responsible for technology at Evergreen Funds, which has $86 billion of assets under management. He will handle internal application development, network production operations, procurement, user support, and vendor management. His hiring was announced Tuesday.
Mr. Greene, 50, had been president of Citco, a software development and consulting firm. Before that he was senior vice president and director of systems development at Franklin Templeton of San Mateo, Calif.
