In Brief: Wall St. Access Starts Web-Trade Platform

NEW YORK — The brokerage firm Wall Street Access has introduced an online trading platform.

AccessPoint, introduced last week, lets customers trade options such as spreads, buy-writes, married puts, straddles, butterfly spreads, box spreads, and ratio spreads.

It also offers access to institutional research and can report the user’s cash balance and the market value of the user’s holdings.
