SYDNEY, Australia - Westpac Banking Corp. has signed a 10-year, $2.3 billion outsourcing agreement with International Business Machines Corp.
IBM Global Services Australia and its primary subcontractor, Telstra, will supply information technology infrastructure and telecommunications services to Westpac. IBM will also enhance the development and delivery of Westpac's supporting processes and work with its staff members across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and Papua New Guinea.
