WILMINGTON, Del. - 838 Investment Group Inc., a subsidiary of Wilmington Savings Fund Society Financial Corp., announced Friday that it had launched an asset and wealth management unit.
The new unit will provide long-term financial planning and investment products such as annuities, mutual funds, and life, disability, and long-term-care insurance to high-net-worth individuals and their families.
The top five banks and thrifts have combined total assets of nearly $13 trillion.
