Independent BankersBank Adds Correspondent Officer in Midwest

The Independent BankersBank in Dallas has hired a correspondent-relations officer to serve community banks in Michigan and Indiana.

Mike Bass has joined the $2.4 billion-asset banker's bank as a vice president and correspondent-relations officer, it said Monday. He is based in Indianapolis.

Bass joined the bank in March from Wolters Kluwer, where he was a regional sales manager, according to his LinkedIn profile.

"We are extremely fortunate to have Mike join our team, as more and more community banks in the Midwest continue to move their correspondent business to TIB," said Michael O'Rourke, president and chief executive of the Independent BankersBank. "We are excited to be able to provide full service to both Indiana and Michigan and look forward to continuing to grow our service."

Independent BankersBank serves community banks in all 50 states, and has offices California, Illinois, Texas, Georgia and Oklahoma.
