Thomas W. Golonski, chairman and chief executive of Integra Bank/North, has been named to the new post of executive vice president, commercial banking, at Integra Financial Corp., the bank's Pittsburgh-based parent.
His new role will include responsibilities now held by Robert O. Blomquist, executive vice president and chief financial officer, who is retiring to become chairman-elect of the Lutheran Brotherhood.
Mr. Golonski's new responsibilities include supervision of the credit management department and of commercial leasing and mortgage banking subsidiaries and the development and monitoring of lending policies and procedures.
Thomas L. Doolin, president and chief operating officer of Integra Bank/North, has been promoted to president and chief executive.
Philip J. Marrie Jr., executive vice president, retail banking, becomes executive vice president, commercial banking, with primary responsibilities in the bank's Mercer County/Lawrence County region; Carl T. Hitechew, senior vice president, regional management, becomes executive vice president, retail banking; and Richard L. Lewis, senior vice president, commercial services, becomes executive vice president, commercial banking.
BANK OF NEW YORK has promoted Kurt D. Woetzel to senior vice president.
He will continue to head the bank's government securities clearance services division.
PNC BANK, Scranton, Pa., said Craig T. Campbell has been named executive vice president and retail market manager for the bank's northeastern Pennsylvania market.
Mr. Campbell has been group manager in retail banking and played a key role in developing the bank's new geographic region system of branches.
CONTINENTAL BANK, Chicago, has named Donald A. Hartmann Jr. as managing director of its Los Angeles relationship management group.
The West Coast business unit serves companies in California, Arizona, Nevada, and Hawaii. Continental focuses on providing and arranging debt and equity capital, financial risk management services, and specialized operating services.
