Fiserv Inc. has hired Don MacDonald, an Intel Corp. executive, to fill the newly created position of chief marketing officer.
Mr. MacDonald, 45, will be based at Fiserv's Brookfield, Wis., headquarters.
He worked at Intel for more than 20 years, most recently as the vice president and general manager of its sales and marketing group and its director of global marketing. He also has held business and marketing roles in units such as mobile products, digital home, and Intel Japan.
"Don has broad experience developing a brand promise and delivering world class technology to the business-to-business community, which will elevate our go-to-market approach," Jeffery W. Yabuki, Fiserv's president and chief executive, said last week in a press release.
