Internet promoting use of its Most debit card.

RESTON, Va. -- The owner and operator of the Most electronic banking network is unveiling a summer television advertising campaign to promote use of debit cards.

The 30-second animated commercial for Internet, which runs the 7,750-automated teller machine network, will begin running in the Washington-Baltimore markets this week.

The ad, created by DDB Needhan, Washington, illustrates the uses of a Most card at grocery stores, gas stations, and ATMs. It also highlights the names of prominent retailers accepting Most debit cards, including Safeway, Mobil, Exxon, and Crow Petroleum.

Internet also will broadcast three new radio spots in the several markets in the mid-Atlantic and the South.

Internet and its Most network have more than 440 members, with 15 million cardholders, in Virginia, Maryland, Washington D.C., Tennessee. Delaware, West Virginia, Arkansas, Mississippi, Pennsylvania, Illinois, and California.
