LA Financial Credit Union has agreed to use core processing software from Jack Henry & Associates Inc.

The Monett, Mo., banking technology company said Thursday that the Los Angeles credit union plans to install in-house the core system offered by its credit union division, Symitar.
"Our current system is not getting us where we need to go," Barbara Nall, the credit union's chief executive, said in a Jack Henry press release. She said she prefers the Episys system because it "was designed specifically and exclusively for the operational needs of credit unions."
