Keystone Group Inc., Boston, recently said that Chase Manhattan Corp. had dropped a suit filed in 1993 concerning one of the first financing arrangements ever established for mutual fund sales commissions. Chase had alleged that the servicing fees it was to collect from nine Keystone mutual funds as part of the deal had fallen below what had been agreed. Keystone said the U.S. district court in Manhattan dismissed the claim.
