Kiwibank Installs Postilion Software

Kiwibank Ltd., New Zealand's state-owned bank, is using software from Postilion, a division of S1 Corp., for processing electronic funds transfers.

Kiwibank is driving its network of 300 automated teller machines with the software, processing transactions from both its cardholders and those from other banks, as well as for other ATM owners on the network and merchant acquirers, S1 announced Monday

The seven-year-old Kiwibank, a subsidiary of New Zealand Post, previously used an in-house transaction processing system, according to S1.

"We had tight project time lines and were extremely impressed with the support the Postilion team gave us to ensure this significant project was delivered on schedule," said Murray Soon, Kiwibank's ATM channel manager, said in the vendor's press release.
