Lakeland Financial Corp. of Warsaw, Ind., is using an automated bank account-opening product from Fiserv Inc.
The Brookfield, Wis., vendor said this week that the $2.2 billion-asset Lakeland installed the Aperio customer relationship management software in January at its Lake City Bank to streamline the process of inputting and managing personal information.
The software can reduce employee training time 60% and cut the time it takes branch employees to open an account by half, Fiserv said.
Lake City Bank, which has 43 branches in 12 Indiana counties, has been using other Fiserv applications since 1983.
The bank said it was looking for an application that would make the account-opening process more efficient for customers and employees, and it selected Aperio because of its ability to monitor customers' use of multiple products.
