Fiserv (FISV), a financial technology software vendor, announced Tuesday it has inked its first client for its retirement income technology.
Lincoln Financial Group, the marketing name for Lincoln National Corp. (LNC) will deploy Fiserv's Retirement Illustrator, software that aims to improve and better assess an investor's retirement income outlook. Capabilities available to clients include the ability to visualize different savings and investment strategies, including demonstrating retirement plans in favorable and unfavorable market conditions.
Lincoln said it will use the new software to support its Retirement Plan Services business as well as offer it to Lincoln-affiliated advisers.
Fiserv said it will work closely with the Radnor, Pa.-based company in the planning, development and launch of the new capabilities.
The Fiserv product, designed to help financial advisers present retirement spending requirements and distribution alternatives, can be deployed across an enterprise or purchased as individual licenses by financial professionals.
