Massachusetts Names Executive

NEW ENGLAND

The Massachusetts Bankers Association has named Daniel J. Forte president, succeeding Richard D. Driscoll, who retired Dec. 31.

Mr. Forte, who joined the Boston-based association in 1985, was its executive vice president for corporate and federal policy.

He had been chief operating officer of management development at the National Council of Savings Institutions, which merged into America's Community Bankers.
