MasterCard is using ATM/debit fraud detection tools from NICE Systems’ Actimize, which is introducing its enhanced data-consortium tools built over the past four years through the acquisition of several fraud solutions.
MasterCard is using Actimize for its own fraud monitor service for issuers, which provides a real-time risk scoring and fraud prevention service for PIN-based transactions.
Actimize plans to roll out a version of the ATM/debit fraud product in 2009 for banks. The Actimize debit card solution will draw from data from billions of transactions at thousands of institutions to support the analytics models, according to the company.
