Mellon Capital Has a New CIO

Bank of New York Mellon Corp. announced Monday that Michael Ho has rejoined Mellon Capital Management as chief investment officer.

Mr. Ho succeeded Thomas Hazuka, who had held the job since 1989 and was promoted to vice chairman of Mellon Capital, which invests roughly $193.1 billion in global and U.S. quantitative investment strategies.

Mr. Ho left Mellon Capital five years ago. Since then he has worked as chief investment officer of Marcuard Family Office AG in Zurich and founded Kevian Capital Management, where he was also chief investment officer.

Mellon Capital is part of BNY Mellon Asset Management, which has more than $1 trillion of assets under management.
