Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc. is installing payment reconciliation software from Fiserv Inc.
The Brookfield, Wis., banking technology vendor said Thursday that Merrill would use the Frontier 2.0 software from CheckFree Corp., which Fiserv bought in December.
Implementation of the software, which will reconcile Merrill's transactions worldwide, began in December and is expected to be complete by yearend, Fiserv said.
Merrill Lynch, a longtime customer of both Fiserv and CheckFree, is using Fiserv's Transfer Manager application to assist in the transition.
