Metavante Signs Up N.C.'s Mountain 1st

Mountain 1st Bank and Trust Co. in Hendersonville, N.C., has agreed to use core account-processing services and other technology from Metavante Technologies Inc.

The $654 million-asset Mountain 1st will replace its core processing software with Metavante's Integrated Banking Solution, the Milwaukee vendor said Monday. The bank also agreed to use Metavante's online banking, electronic fund transfer and card, customer relationship management, check imaging for branches and merchant locations, and risk and compliance systems.

Mountain 1st, which opened in May 2004, has 14 branches in eight North Carolina counties.
