The chief executive of a civil engineering firm has been named as the chairman of Mid Penn Bancorp (MPB) of Millersburg, Pa.
Robert C. Grubic is taking over for Edwin D. Schlegel, who retired from the position in May, the $718 million-asset company said Friday. Schlegel had been chairman since 2008.
Grubic is the president and CEO of Herbert, Rowland and Grubic in Harrisburg, Pa. He has been on the Mid Penn board since 2006 and previously served as vice chairman.
William A. Specht 3rd, who also has been on the board since 2006, was named vice chairman. He is president and CEO of Seal Glove Manufacturing, a company in Millersburg that makes work gloves.
